New technology for wireless charging with Archimede lithium batteries

WHY INTEGRATE WIRELESS CHARGING INTO ELECTRIC VEHICLES?
The goal is to give continuity to industrial electric vehicles such as AGVs (Automated guided vehicles) and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) with a view to industry 4.0. AGVs and AMRs are robotic systems for warehouse management, which guarantee automated and faster logistics management. The need to have the batteries with an optimal level of charge forces them to stop for long periods to allow the batteries to be recharged or replaced. Integrated wireless charging ensures a smart charging process for plant logistics and optimized for lithium batteries.
On the occasion of the “SEPEM” Industrial Maintenance Fair scheduled from 6 to 8 April 2022, ENERMOVE and RM SISTEMI ELETTRONICI will present a preview of the prototype (for demonstration purposes) of a wireless charging system for industrial electric vehicles for lithium batteries.
SEPEM Industries is the fair that offers practical answers to the needs of production plants. Technologies, processes, machinery, maintenance and services. On this occasion Archimede Energia, always attentive to new technologies, will also be present alongside Enermove, with its own lithium batteries.
WHO IS ENERMOVE? HOW DOES THE WIRELESS CHARGING DEVELOPED BY ENERMOVE WORK?
Enermove is a startup, born in 2019, which designs and develops wireless charging systems for industrial electric vehicles. The company offers both dynamic and static inductive wireless charging systems, developing compact products with strong modularity, for logistics and industrial automation systems.
The startup is able to electrify the logistics plants by creating charging lanes that ensure charging as the robotic systems pass. The charging lanes, made up of several transmitting coils, are activated automatically when the vehicle passes, this system allows the vehicle to be continuously powered, allowing the battery to be recharged and eliminating the need for stops for recharging.
The plant is monitored 24 hours a day to ensure not only the safety of the operators but efficient energy management. Thanks to the modularity of the Enermove technology, the system can be customized according to the characteristics of the logistics plant layout.
THE SYNERGY BETWEEN ENERMOVE AND ARCHIMEDE ENERGIA
We are collaborating with the startup “ENERMOVE” and the company RM SISTEMI ELETTRONICI, making our 48V lithium batteries available to give life to the innovative wireless charging system. We supplied our AEnerboxes for testing the charging system and for defining the communication protocol for optimized charging.
THE RM SISTEMI ELETTRONICI PARTNERSHIP
R.M. Electronic Systems is a company that develops electronic systems and devices following each stage of the process: from hardware & firmware design, to the production of boards and circuits, from the 3D processing of the finished product, to functionality testing.
The meeting between Enermove and RM was born from the need to engineer existing technology in order to create an innovative product not only from the point of view of wireless energy transmission but also in the creation of an information transmission network capable to make the various charging stations communicate intelligently with the fleet of trolleys present in the plant, optimizing energy management.
RM with its “Gali by RM” brand produces a line of specific products for smart charging in the eMobility field and, together with Enermove, they are working on a new product under the same brand which will be called “GaliWi”.
